Create and Update Project
Creating a project on the Immerse platform is easy and can be done from the Unity editor. One you have the Platform Services package added to your project and you have signed-in using your creator account, simply click the ‘Create Project’ button.
A confirmation dialog box will be shown displaying some basic info for the project you are about to create. These values can be changed at any time when updating your project (see below).
Keeping your project up-to-date with the platform is important as this information is used when configuring your session. It is possible to update your project at anytime. However, is automatically updated whenever uploading a build to the platform.
One of the key things to keep updated is you project’s message configuration. Each time a change is made here, it is important to click the ‘Update Project’ button in order for these changes to take affect.
There are occasions where you may need to unlink a project from the platform, such as not having access to the project from your account. The ‘Unlink’ button next to the ‘Update Project’ button will do just this.
After unlinking a project, you will lose access to the developer session and any associated reporting data. But all your project configuration is still stored locally and will be sent when creating a new project.
